Meet Don and Debora

Meet Don and Debora Young, the creative minds behind Don Young Glass Studio.

Don Young, founder, artist-technician, consultant- Texas native, Don Young specializes in extraordinary architectural glass creations relevant for public, commercial, and residential buildings throughout the United States. Mr. Young has owned and operated his own professional glass company in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas since 1973.

After studying in San Francisco California under the internationally acclaimed and twice NEA recipient, Narcissus Quagliata, Don continued advancing his professional career, pioneering the glass etching technique now known as photo-etching, first used on glass panels for the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library in Dallas Texas (1987). Don’s role in the arts community led to his co-founding of the Texas Glass Artists Association.

Today, Don continues to enjoy his growing company, artistry, and involvement in many community and civic organizations along with his passion for, and the largest private collection of vintage, Federico Fellini film posters in the United States (http://felliniana.com/), as well as his collaboration with various public, private, and commercial interests.
